HAILEY BRADY, OWNER
Hailey is a Woodstown local and has been dancing since she was eight years old. She graduated from Stockton University in 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Dance Performance. During her time at Stockton, Hailey worked with professional dance companies such as Lehrer Dance, Robert Moses' Kin and Rain Ross Dance. Hailey has attended and performed in the American College Dance Association Festival which supports dance in higher education through regional conferences, the adjudication process and national festivals. Hailey has also debuted her own choreography while at Stockton. Hailey believes that with a strong foundation, anything is possible. Her mission at the HJDC is to promote a fun, educational environment where her dancers can efficiently learn and grow. She aims to instill hard work, perseverance, and positive attitudes in order for her students to achieve their dance goals.
CHRISTINE GILBERT
Christine Ann Gilbert was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Her love of dance led her to Philadelphia and University of the Arts, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance with honors in 2015. During her undergrad she was privileged to partake in curriculum that extended training beyond classical dance forms, crafting her into a multifaceted technical artist. Christine has since worked as a freelance dancer and teacher in New York City, a group fitness trainer, and has found her way back to the Philadelphia region through musical theater. She is so excited to join The Hailey Jane Dance Center! In her structured classes, she nurtures an environment where students are welcomed to ask questions, to try and fail, then try again, to build discipline while having fun, and remembering that the driving force of dance is the love of the craft.
ABIGAIL GLENN
Abigail Glenn, a native of South Jersey, began dancing at age 4 at the Tricia Sloan Dance Center in Wenonah. Over her 14 years of dance prior to college, she also studied ballet at Ballet Fleming in Philadelphia. She went on to receive a BFA in Dance, along with a minor in Education as a Social Science, from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. During her time at Mason Gross, Abigail performed in student works, both films and live performances, and choreographed her own group pieces and solo. Over the past four years, she had the opportunity to perform works by renowned choreographers Michelle Manzanales, Pam Quinn, and Thang Dao. This past school year, Abigail taught at the YMCA of Westfield, NJ, where she gained experience teaching ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, and acro to children ages 2-10. Having graduated this past May, she is thrilled to begin her first season teaching at The Hailey Jane Dance Center and sharing her love of tap with her students!
